エールフランスでパリからベルリン（TXL)へ移動。それにしてもベルリンのテーゲル空港って冗談みたいですねｗ。ドイツ連邦の首都とは思えないくらいの小規模空港(
伊丹より小さいんちゃう？って僕も実家に帰るときはいつも伊丹つかってますよ）ですが、２０１２年ごろにブランデンブルグ空港が開港するとそちらに統合されるそうです。まあテーゲルくらいの規模のほうが使い勝手はいいですがね！
それはさておき、今回はヨーロッパでは数少ないリッツ・カールトンに宿泊です。ドイツではベルリンとウォルフスブルグの２軒あります。
場所はソニーセンターなどが立ち並ぶポツダム広場の中心にあってかなり便利です。
外観は普通のビルですが、内装はリッツカールトンらしいクラシックな感じ。東京とかはかなりモダンですが、モスクワとかもこういう雰囲気ですね。都市によってコンセプトがあるんでしょう。

Accomodation in berlin this time is The Ritz-Carlton which is very hard to find in Europe; one of 2 properties in Germany(the other is in Wolfsburg)
Located in the center of potsdamer platz(underground staion), with Sony center and Berliner Philharmoniker within walking distance.
Characterless ouside,true ritz-carlton atmosphere inside.Similar feeling to Moscow not to Tokyo.

クラブラウンジは割とこじんまりしていますが、利用者もさほど多くはないのでいつも静かでくつろげました。スタッフは全員女性で、きめの細かいサービスで好感がもてましたが、ちょっと笑顔は少なめかな。まあドイツ人らしく黙ってしっかり仕事する感じですかね。

フードプレゼンテーションはおそらく４～５回/dayです。いついっても何か出ていましたが種類はアジアのリッツカールトンに比べると少ないのかな。ただ値段は相当リーズナブルです。クラブデラックスでも250€ほど。

ホテル自体が１１階建てなので眺望はあまりよくないです。

９月とはいえ、外は相当寒かったのでこういうホットミールは助かります。味も◎
となりはマリオット。リッツの客はマリオットの施設も利用できるようでした。そのへんは統合のメリットなのかな？
そういえば帰国した後、リッツカールトンでもポイントプラグラムが始まったので、この滞在でもreward pointが付きました。これもメリットといえばメリットですが、やはり普通のチェーン・ホテルっぽくなってしまいましたね。
