香港四季酒店【Fourseasons Hong Kong】 Pool

このホテル最大の売りはおそらくこのプールでしょう。もはやシティホテルというよりは完全にリゾートです。ちなみに向かいのリッツカールトンは世界一高い位置にあるプールだそうですが、屋内なんですよね。この開放感をとるか世界一の高さをとるか。

夜も１０時まで利用できるので夏場は一日このプールで過ごせます。プールサイドのレストランもレベルが高いので１日いても飽きません。下手に外に出て汗をかきながら夜景を見るくらいなら、ここのプールに浮かびながら夜景を見たほうがよっぽど断然いいですね。

今回も1昨年に引き続きFourseasons hong kong に滞在です。
今回は向かいのritz-carltonが開業していたこともありかなり迷ったのですが、やはり開業直後でサービスがイマイチ、という噂を耳にしたので前回の実績のあるFSに決めました。
しかし、円高にも関わらずルームレートが２割近くアップしていたため、トータルの支払額はほぼ前回と一緒でした。（特にエグゼクティブ・フロアの利用料はほぼ倍！！恐るべしチャイナパワー）
This is the second visit to this hotel in central Hong Kong in 3 years.We chose FS rather than brand-new Ritz-Carlton as they have just opened their doors and there was a  rumor that service was still inconsistent.
In spite of strong Yen, the  room rate which was up by 20% made our bill  as expensive as two years ago. (Tariff for the executive lounge was doubled!)

そのかわりソフト面は前回よりもさらにアップグレードされており、最近のホテルには欠かせない（？）ネスプレッソ、バスソルト、i-podドッキングステーション等が追加されていました。ちなみにラウンジのお食事も種類が増えていましたね。ただ倍の価値はないと思われます。。。
They upgraded hotel amenities by adding Nespresso,bath salt,i-pod docking audio etc.at rooms and with greater food presentaion at the lounge ,yet it's not  a good enough excuse for doubling tariff.

Twin beds(a bit narrow ones)

チェックインもスムーズに行われ、ウェルカムシャンパーニュをいただいたあとお部屋に案内されました。一応一番下のカテゴリーであるpeak viewでしたが、2カテゴリーupでpremier harbourにしてくれました。ちなみに前回はpeak→普通のharbour viewだったので、まだpeakに泊まったことがないんですよね。
We were upgraded from peak deluxe(moutain side)to premier harbour deluxe(i.e.2 categories up).Never have we stayed in a peak side room as they always upgrade us to harbour side...
The room is very spacious by Hong Kong's standards,the twin beds are a bit narrow though.
お部屋は45平米なので、香港にしてはかなり広いほうでしょう。ただツインの部屋のベットの幅はちょっと狭いです。
